Clinical Partners is the UK’s largest private provider of autism and ADHD assessments, supporting individuals and families across both private and NHS-funded pathways.

In 2023, the organisation was commissioned by the NHS to deliver autism assessments for children and young people across Lancashire and South Cumbria, a large region with long waiting lists and significant demand for neurodevelopmental services. As part of this rollout, I led the development of the Autism Unlocked content platform designed to support families through every stage of the NHS diagnostic process.

A central part of this platform is Divergent Voices, a video series I named and developed to share the lived experiences of autistic people and their families. The goal was to create an authentic space where stories could be told in autistic people’s own words, offering insight and reassurance to others navigating similar journeys.

I named and helped shape the series from the ground up, working with NHS stakeholders and video producers. We also worked closely with autistic content creators throughout the planning, filming and editing process to ensure their stories were handled with care, respect and authenticity.

The result was a series of short films hosted on YouTube, designed to feature on the Autism Unlocked platform. Each video offers insight into different stages of the diagnostic journey, from recognising early signs to navigating school, family life, and accessing support.
