Divergent Voices
The Brief
Clinical Partners was contracted by the NHS to provide autism assessments in Lancashire and South Cumbria. Waiting lists were very long, with some patients facing a wait of over 12 months for their assessments.
Many people on the waiting list felt lost, unsupported and forgotten. Yet the local NHS team had no history of communicating with patients outside of appointment communications and very few opportunities to engage with this audience.
The challenge was to create and develop content to provide reliable, trusted advice and guidance for people waiting for their assessments.

Creative development
I led a team to create, develop and produce Divergent Voices, a talk-show-style video series in which neurodivergent people would share experiences and discuss the different approaches they use to manage everyday challenges.
Hosted by Purple Ella, an autistic content creator, the series offers tips and strategies for both adults and families with autistic children, addressing issues like school and workplace anxiety, eating habits, ADHD, autism, recognising strengths, and making adaptations at home and school.
